Meguiar’s Ride of The Week features an awesome ’67 Mustang owned by Amber Brush from Elkhorn, NE.
Amber always wanted a 1967 Fastback but wanted it to resemble the ’71 Mustang from the feature film “Gone in 60 Seconds.” She finally located the car in 2014 in Miami via ebay. The car was a rolling shell at the time. She hired a company to get the car back to Omaha where she slowly began disassembly. Tom Scott was charged with the paint and body work that includes a MTF GT500 body Kit, Eleanor style hood, Shelby GT500 tail panel and deck lid with satin black racing stripes. After paint and body, Amber went back to work with the re-assembly to complete the project in a six year span.
The Mustang rides on 17” American Racing wheels wrapped with BF Goodrich tires. The 5.0L Coyote V8 powers the car with a Tremec 5 speed transferring power to the rear wheels. Other features include:
- Interior by Katzkin Automotive Leather
- TMI Suede headliner and door panels
- TCI front and rear suspension
- MTF GT500 body kit
- Elanor style hood
- Dakota Digital Gauges
- Wilwood front and rear brakes
- Hidden blue tooth
- Navigation head unit with a rear backup camera
- Power windows, locks and emergency brake
